Ingredients:
2 large onions
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Creole seasoning to taste (or seasoning of choice)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin top pan or baking sheet.
Evenly sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese into each cavity or form small circles on a baking sheet.
Peel and slice the onions into rings. Place an onion ring on top of each cheese circle.
Sprinkle Creole seasoning or your preferred seasoning over the onion rings.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
Remove from the oven and transfer to paper towels to drain and cool for 10 minutes to crisp up.
Serve and enjoy your homemade crunchy onion cheddar chips!
